TANA LE GRAND CONFINEMENT DU 23&24 AVRIL 2021

Pendant le week-end du 23 et 24 avril 2021, Antananarivo a vécu le grand confinement imposé dans le cadre de l’urgence sanitaire du au COVID-19. Ce groupe de jeunes photographes, MIRA PHOTO, a pu saisir l’ambiance des rues de la Capitale pendant ces 2 jours. Plus personne dans les rues, à part les forces de l’ordre.

Un confinement total pendant le week-end des 24 et 25 avril dans la région d’Analamanga a été annoncé par le président de la République le 17. avril.

Les principales routes de circulation de la ville d’Antananarivo ont été fermées par la police. Les rues d’Antananarivo ont été vidées de leurs utilisateurs.

Transports, commerce, divertissement… tout est à l’arrêt.

TANA LOCKDOWN 23&24 APRIL 2021

A total lockdown during the weekend of April 24th and 25th in the Analamanga Region was announced by the President of the Republic on April 17.

The main traffic routes in the city of Antananarivo were cordoned off by the police. The streets of Antananarivo were emptied of their users.

Transportation, commerce, entertainment… everything is at a standstill.

« MIRA PHOTO » est un collectif de photographes co-fondé par quatre photoreporters Malagasy

Basés à Antananarivo, Madagascar, les photoreporters de MIRA PHOTO veulent apporter un regard différent, photo journalistiques et documentaires sur leur pays et les nombreux événements sociaux, politiques ou culturels qui animent la vie quotidienne des Malagasy. Auteurs et artistes, les photographes de MIRA PHOTO croient en une pratique humaniste et engagée de la photo. Ce collectif de photographes veut mettre en avant une identité́ esthétique forte pour ainsi sensibiliser un large public à ce langage universel qu’est la Photographie.

Based in Antananarivo, Madagascar, MIRA PHOTO’s photoreporters want to bring a different, photo-journalistic and documentary view of their country and the many social, political or cultural events that animate the daily life of Malagasy people.
